Super item, quite scarce, a decent signature from actress Veronica Lake. Lake died quite young aged fifty after making a name in the movie industry often along-side Alan Ladd insuch movies as This Gun for Hire. Lake often proved difficult to work with, one example was Lake was six months pregnant when filming started on This Gun for Hire & omitted to tell the producers. With various personal issues, on work accidents, death of her son shortly after birth, Lakes career faded & she died destitute 1970. The item is superbly framed in gold & measures 61 x 43 cms.
