Ronnie & Reggie Multiple Page Prison Letters

An extremely rare set of letters purchased by me from Staceys auctioneers 18/8/2021 The hand written letters are to Fred Dinenage who ghosted the autobiographies My Story and Our Story for the Kray twins. The pages measures approx 8 x 6 ins & 5 x 7 ins & are hand written in full by both the Kray twins. The Ronnie [& more valuable] has been "Ron" to the bottom of page 8, this with the other double sided pages extol the virtues of his mother [i,m not arguing] explaining how he could still smell her perfume & how she scrubed the house from top to bottom etc etc. Gorgeous content!! The Reg Kray letter consists of 26 pages !!!! [you get them all] starting with school life, sleeping in tents etc, the songs his mum sang [she had a sweet voice] The tone then changes somewhat, with Reg wishing Fred Happy New Year etc as the letter was written on 31/dec then moves on to January, with talk of the inmate in cell 13 banging cups etc. A superb piece of social history to a size 57 x 68 cms
