Len "Nipper " Read Autograph The Krays

A very nice Metropolitan Police F.D.C signed by "Nipper" Read, the Detective Chief Superintendent who in 1967 led the team to the arrest of the infamous London gangsters The Kray brothers. After Len retired from the force he held various positions as a boxing administrator, most notably chairman of the British Boxing Board of Control. Nice piece of social history from the days gone by. Framed with a 10 x 8 inch photo of Ronnie & Reggie to an off white and black mount.
