John Thaw & Dennis Waterman The Sweeney

Again new to me, signature on cards from actors Dennis Waterman & John Thaw to a "The Sweeney" theme the popular British crime drama which ran from 1977-1978 & aired in the ITV regions for fifty-three episodes.Unknown to me the popularity of the series in the UK led to two feature films – Sweeney! (1977) and Sweeney 2 (1978) – both starring Thaw and Waterman, This is nicely framed with printed mount board to an overall size of 20 x 24 ins.
