The 1st Flyweight World Champion Jimmy Wilde

A gorgeous item this, a signed cut book page by Merthry born Jimmy Wilde [1892-1969] and dated 1949. in 1916, Jimmy became the 1st recognized flyweight boxing champion of the world beating Johnney Rosner in a career which includes an incredible 132 wins. Jimmy known as "The Mighty Atom" and "Taylorstown Terror" won 99 of these fights inside the distance! This has been framed in black with a white on black mount with cut corner detail so it really stands out and included is a name plaque, photograph of Jimmy and an adult size boxing glove.Great item for the fight fan.
