Jack Dempsey The Manassa Mauler

Lovely ink signature from boxing great, Jack Dempsey. Jack nicknamed the Manassa Mauler held the heavyweight belt from 1914-1927 & fought in the 1st $1,000,000 gate. Dempsey was a cultural icon during the 1920s for his aggressive fighting style and exceptional punching power & is ranked tenth on The Ring magazine's list of all-time heavyweight. This super postcard signed on the back is from the time when Jack owned a New York restaurant after his retirement. Superbly framed with a photo of Jack and a vintage boxing glove.
